Jacquie Munro, founder of the "Slow Birth" movement, is an experienced doula and childbirth educator and is well-known for her individualized, intuitive approach to supporting families in the childbearing year and beyond. Since 1987, she has provided support at over one thousand births, at home and in hospital, and taught thousands of expectant parents. At home, Jacquie lives only a bike ride away from four generations of her family. You can usually find her at the park or beach, playing beside her twin grandsons who call her "Deecy".

Well, that was quick...700 is here!

Faster than a speeding bullet...well, not quite...

Client #700 has had her baby! The birth was powerful, beautiful, joyful, challenging, and quite unbelievable for mum. Her first labour was more than two days...this one was only 5 1/2 hours.

And that wry sense of humour that I wrote about in the post from earlier today? This little girl decided to come sunny side up! Easily, too!

Wow!

Wow! And I thought I was making progress by having recently been an my 30th (not even 300th) client's birth.

I can only imagine how much you know...and what a service you provide for Vancouver.
